Nithiin resumes shooting for Chandra Sekhar Yeleti's Check

Nithiin has re-commenced shooting for his next film with director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti titled Check.
Sharing a poster which sees him in prisoner’s uniform, something the pre-look also hinted, Nithiin wrote, “New schedule beginsss!! @yeletics @BhavyaCreations @Rakulpreet #priyavarrier.” (sic) The poster sees him dressed in orange prison uniform and standing behind bars. Written on it is the text – Lockdown to Lockup.Happy to resume the shooting again.

Pre-look of the film was launched by Koratala Siva, giving an insight into the film’s story. In the pre-look of Check, Nithiin can be seen in a rough look, with handcuffs on his hands. A chess-board and barbed wire hint at the film being a prison drama. Chandra Sekhar Yeleti is known for making edgy films like Aithe, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Prayanam and more. The collaboration between Nithiin and Chandra Sekhar was announced in June last year. Rakul Preet Singh seemingly plays a lawyer in the film while Priya Prakash Varrier plays Nithiin’s love interest. MM Keeravani will be composing the music.
Apart from this Nithiin has several other exciting projects lined up in the form of Venky Atluri’s Rang De with Keerthy Suresh and the Telugu remake of Bollywood hit Andhadhun by Merlapaka Gandhi with Nabha Natesh and Tamannaah Bhatia. He will also be seen in a film by Krishna Chaitanya and a film called Power Peta by Sriram Raghavan. Nithiin had resumed shooting for Rang De first after the lockdown. Further details are awaited.
