The release date of Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran-starrer 'Karthikeya 2' has been postponed by a day. The film, which was earlier scheduled to be released on August 12, will now hit cinema houses on August 13, a statement issued by the makers read. The film, produced by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad, is directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

The theatrical trailer of 'Karthikeya 2' received so many positive reviews, as the audience await the release of this mystery-based movie. It is expected to be a mystery thriller about a search for secrets buried beneath the sea near Dwaraka. People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts have joined hands to produce this mystery-oriented movie. Having Kaala Bhairava as the music director, the movie is scheduled to release on July 22 worldwide, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The technical crew includes Karthik Ghattamaneni as the cinematographer and the editor. The supporting cast of 'Karthikeya 2' includes Anupam Kher, Srinivasa Reddy, Harsha Chemudu, Adithya Menon, Praveen, Satya and others in important roles. Anupama Parameswaran recently clarified why she had been unable to join the team in promoting the film. She said that she couldn’t participate in the promotional event, as she has been busy with her other commitments.
