Niharika Konidela addresses the rumored rift between cousins Sai Durgha Tej and Allu Arjun

Recently, there have been rumors of a rift between actor Sai Durgha Tej, formerly known as Sai Dharam Tej, and his cousin Allu Arjun. The speculation grew when fans noticed that Sai had unfollowed Allu Arjun and his wife, Sneha Reddy, on social media platforms after Pawan Kalyan was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Niharika Konidela, another cousin and the daughter of Nagababu, was recently asked about it at a press conference in Hyderabad.

During a promotion event for her upcoming production, 'Committee Kurrollu' and trailer launch, Niharika was asked about the alleged rift, inquiring if she was aware that Sai had unfollowed Allu Arjun. Responding to the question, Niharika expressed her surprise and claimed ignorance of the situation. She stated, "Genuinely, I didn’t know about this till you just told me. I’m sorry, I’m not aware of it. But, whatever it is, I’m sure they have their own reasons."

A report in Hindustan Times suggests that Sai Durgha Tej had unfollowed Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy some time ago, but it had only come to public attention recently. The source mentioned that the unfollowing happened shortly after the elections but did not provide further details on the reasons behind it. Both actors' teams and the source declined to elaborate on the matter.
