Suryakantam’s
trailer
was launched by
Rana Daggubati today.
Slated for release on March 29, the teaser and music composed by
Mark K Robin
were received well by many. The full jukebox of the film was also recently launched by ‘Chitralahari’ actor
Sai Dharam Tej. The trailer offers a bigger glimpse into the story shown by the teaser, of
Niharika playing the spunky Suryakantam and Rahul Vijay, Abhi her baffled boyfriend.
It shows the story being narrated by a down-on-luck Abhi, whose life seemingly changes for the worse once Suryakantam walks into it. While he’s unsure about her feelings for him and plans to move on with another girl Pooja, Suryakantam doesn’t make it easy for him. While the teaser was completely light-hearted, the trailer hints at the film having intense scenes, especially between the trio.
Rana who launched the trailer wrote on his social media, “Here’s a glimpse of her thug life #Suryakantam. http://bit.ly/SuryakantamTrailer…Can’t wait to watch it this Friday!! But it seems like I owe a lot of thank you. I am really so touched by your kindness! @RanaDaggubati garu. Bunches and bunches of thanks! Andi, Let's meet you all in theatres on March 29." (sic) It remains to be seen how the film will fare.
