“Nene Naa” First Look: Regina Cassandra looks intense as a queen

It’s already evident that ‘Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene’ fame Caarthick Raju is directing a female-centric film starring the gorgeous Regina Cassandra in the lead role. Touted to be a mystery thriller, the shooting of this Tamil Telugu bilingual has recently commenced in the rural parts of Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, the title and the first look poster of the crazy project have been unveiled by Kollywood superstar Vijay Sethupathi on social media.
While the Tamil version has been titled as Soorpanagai, the Telugu film is christened as Nene Naa. The first look poster features Regina Cassandra dressed up as a queen with slap marks on both sides of her face. Interestingly, there is an iron torture chamber in the background and overall, the poster looks intriguing.
While the 29-year-old ‘Awe’ actress will be essaying the role of an archaeologist and performing some kick-ass stunts by herself without any body double, Bengaluru bombshell Akshara Gowda has been roped in as the second lead. Vennela Kishore is playing a pivotal role in Nene Naa.

Regina’s last outing in Tollywood was Adivi Sesh’s Evaru and the suspense-thriller registered a stupendous success at the ticket counters. The ravishing beauty delivered a compelling act as Sameera, a role that requires her to be steely, vulnerable and scheming all at once.
