Nandamuri Balakrishna is collaborating with ‘Devara’ director Korata Siva for their upcoming movie, which is tentatively called ‘NBK112’. As the makers have already annouced the film, the latest buzz suggests that the project is set to begin soon.
NBK112 expected to start soon
As per a report by VSN Murthy aka Devipriya, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Koratala Siva’s film is expected to go on floors in August 2026. There is also talk that a special muhurat ceremony may be held on June 25, 2026. However, the makers have not officially confirmed these dates so far.
Reported title of film
The film has become a hot topic among movie lovers because of the reports surrounding its possible title. Many reports claim that the makers are considering the title ‘Carpenter’ for the project. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the title has already caught the attention of fans.
The reported title is said to have a strong mass appeal and is expected to connect with audiences across different regions. Many believe it also suits Balakrishna’s powerful screen image and larger-than-life presence.
Music composer of the film
Apart from the title, another interesting update making rounds is about the music department. Reports suggest that popular composer Anirudh Ravichander could be brought on board to compose the songs and background score.

Actor and director’s work front
On the work front, Balakrishna was last seen in ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’, directed by Boyapati Sreenu. Meanwhile, Koratala Siva was last directed ‘Devera’ starring Jr NTR. Soon after the announcement of ‘NBK112’ was made, several reports claimed that Koratala Siva may have put ‘Devara: Part 2’ on hold. However, no official statement has been released regarding the future of that project.
