Nayanthara and Prabhas to reunite after 17 years: reports

Nayanthara and Prabhas, two of the biggest stars in the Indian film industry, are speculated to be reuniting on screen after 17 years. Reports suggest that Nayanthara is expected to feature in Prabhas's upcoming film, 'The Raja Saab'.

According to some media reports the 'Jawan' actress will be featuring Prabhas in the upcoming comedy-drama film, 'The Raja Saab' for a special song. No official confirmation has been made regarding this collaboration.

'The Raja Saab' is a comedy-drama that will be released on April 10, 2025. The film features an impressive supporting cast, including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta, and Brahmanandam. The music for the film is composed by SS Thaman.

This reunion marks the first time Nayanthara and Prabhas have appeared together since their 2007 film 'Yogi'. In 'Yogi', directed by V.V. Vinayak Prabhas played Eeshwar Prasad, a young man who becomes embroiled in crime while trying to provide a better life for his mother. The film was well-received and showcased the chemistry between the two stars.

In recent news, Nayanthara has also been in the spotlight due to her public feud with fellow actor Dhanush regarding her documentary on OTT. The controversy arose when Dhanush allegedly sent her a legal notice demanding Rs 10 crore for using footage from their film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' which was produced by Dhanush.

On the other hand, Prabhas last seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD' made a mammoth collection at the box office. Later, he will also be working on upcoming films, 'Salaar Part 2', 'Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2', Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' and a film with director Hanu Raghavapudi.
