Naveen Polishetty shakes a leg with students at the teaser launch of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty

Tollywood actor Naveen Polishetty recently made heads turn at a private college in the city.

The actor was attending the teaser launch of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, his upcoming film with actress Anushka Shetty. While there, he was met with cheers and even as confetti rained down on him, the actor broke out into teen maar, much to the students’ delight. The students even whipped out their phones to record him shaking a leg, thrilled at the teaser’s release. The film will see him play a stand-up comedian called Siddhu while Anushka plays a chef called Anvita from London.

Talking to Hyderabad Times about the film, director Mahesh Babu had said, “I was sceptical to cast Anushka because she’s such a big star. But she surprised me not just by saying yes but also with her performance. As for Naveen, he’s the perfect fit for the role and I was confident he could pull it off. However, we had to take a pause and consider how the duo would look on-screen. But once we began shooting, I wasn’t worried because they’re pure magic together.”

The teaser received good response from fans, with even Anushka’s friend Prabhas, sharing it on social media. Further details are awaited.
