National award winning filmmaker Satish Vegesna announces his next

National award winning filmmaker Satish Vegesna is all set to direct a family drama starring the late Srihari’s son Meghamsh Srihari and his own son Sameer Vegesna in the lead roles.
On the eve of the late actor’s birth anniversary, this new project was announced by producer MLV Satyanarayana under the Lakshya Productions banner. The producer said on the occasion, “Sathamanam Bhavati is a film I hold close to my heart and I’m glad to be producing Satish Vegesna’s next film.The details regarding the female lead, other cast and crew will be announced shortly.”
This will be Sameer Vegesna’s debut film, which is touted to be a youthful family entertainer with Satish Vegesna’s trademark family emotions and dialogues. However, shoot will commence only after the pandemic ends and government lifts the Covid-19 regulations currently in place for film shoots. Talking about it, Satish Vegesna says, “I’ve directed multiple family dramas in the past and I’m happy to be directing a full-fledged entertainer. We have just wrapped up pre-production formalities and will commence shoot whenever the situation improves.”
Satish Vegesna’s Sathamanam Bhavati, which saw Sharwanad and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles bagged a national award in the category of Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He last directed Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s Entha Manchivaadavuraa which released during Sankranti this year. The director is known for helming some of the lauded family dramas and pulling family audiences to theatres.
Meanwhile, this is going to be the second film of Srihari’s son Meghamsh Srihari. In 2019 he made his debut with the film Rajdooth along with actress Nakshatara.
