Nani's Tuck Jagadish postponed due to second wave of COVID-19

The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic seems to be making an impact on the big-ticket releases in

Tollywood

. After Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi-starrer Love Story was postponed indefinitely due to the unprecedented spike in

COVID

cases, other big releases seems to be following suit. The upcoming Nani, Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh’s starrer Tuck Jagadish, which was set to hit screens on April 23, has now been postponed due to the spike in Covid-19 cases across the country.

On Monday, actor Nani shared a video announcing that the film has been postponed."From Krack to Vakeel Saab, we've seen many films become super hits and blockbusters this year. We too were excited to release our film. Tuck Jagadish is a complete family entertainer and it must be watched with an entire family. But right now, it is not safe to watch the film in such conditions, which is why we have decided to hold back the release of the trailer as well this Ugadi," the actor shared in the video, adding that they will announce a new release date soon. "Whenever the trailer of Tuck Jagadish comes out, it will have a new release date. I urge everyone to be safe," Nani added.

Nani is teaming up with director Shiva Nirvana for the second time after Ninnu Kori. Tuck Jagadish, which recently wrapped up its post-production works, also features Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh as female leads.
