Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Daaku Maharaaj' Tamil version to run in theatres from Today

Nandamuri Balakrishna's film action thriller 'Daaku Maharaaj' has been thriving at the box office since its successful release on January 12, 2025. The film, which has been received well by the audiences and fans, is set to make its Tamil debut.
This announcement was confirmed by the makers through a post on X (formerly Twitter), where they shared that the Tamil version of the film will be released today on January 17, 2025. Their message reads, "The sensation that shook the box office and won hearts in Telugu Now ready to ROAR in Tamil from tomorrow! Experience the #BlockbusterHuntingDaakuMaharaaj with your loved ones"

Directed by Bobby Kolli, 'Daaku Maharaaj' is a period action drama that tells the story of an officer who transforms into a daring robber to save his village from the oppression of a powerful family. Balakrishna plays the lead role, showcasing his charisma and talent, while Bobby Deol takes on the role of the main antagonist. The film also features a talented ensemble cast, including Urvashi Rautela in her Telugu film debut, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and several others in pivotal roles.
Upon its release, 'Daaku Maharaaj' received mixed reviews from critics but has still managed to perform well at the box office. The film earned approximately Rs 60.50 crore within its first three days, with a strong opening day collection of Rs 23 crore and Rs 20 crore on its second day. On its third day, it grossed around Rs 17.50 crore, demonstrating its popularity among audiences.
