Nandamuri Balakrishna to kick-start his father NTR’s centenary anniversary in Nimmakuru

The centenary anniversary of late actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh,

Rao, will take place from May 28.

The legendary actor was born in the

Nimmakuru

town of Andhra Pradesh on the date and events will take place in his honour. His son, actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, will kick-start them in their hometown. A spokesperson for the family took to social media and wrote, “విశ్వవిఖ్యాత నటసార్వభౌమ స్వర్గీయ నందమూరి తారక రామారావు గారి పుట్టిన ఊరు "నిమ్మకూరు" లో మే 28న ఉదయం నటసింహం నందమూరి. బాలకృష్ణ గారి చేతుల మీదుగా అత్యంత ఘనంగా ప్రారంభం కానున్న ఎన్టీఆర్ శత జయంతి వేడుకలు. (sic)” (On May 28, Nandamuri Balakrishna will attend the centenary celebrations of his father and legendary actor, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.)

The late actor was born in 1923 and this year is a special anniversary. Seeing as how it’s the 99th anniversary of his birth, the family plans on numerous events till next year, the 100th anniversary. It is speculated that Jr NTR will also attend his grandfather’s centenary celebrations but it is yet to be confirmed. The late NTR acted in more than 300 films, even directing and producing some. After gaining millions of fans across AP, he also made his presence felt on the political battlefield. After serving as the CM, he took his last breath in 1996.
