Nagarjuna's waiting for a dream to come true

Where there is a cool new sports league, there will be a hot superstar who���������s ready to dole out big bucks for a share of the glamorous sports pie. This has been the mantra ever since IPL changed the way India looked at sports. And actor Akkineni Nagarjuna is the latest to jump the bandwagon from Tollywood.
After wowing fans with his cricketing skills at various celebrity cricket matches, Nagarjuna is gearing up for a new sporting avatar.It is reported that the actor will co-own a racing team in a motor sports league backed by Sachin Tendulkar.
When contacted, Nag confirms his interest in the league, but refuses to divulge more details. ���������Yes, the Hyderabad Team of the i1 Super Series is very much on the cards. In fact, talks for the same have been going on for a while now, but it���������s too early for me to make an official comment about it. There are a lot of formalities that are yet to be finalized. Till these things are on the books and till I sign the dotted line, I don���������t want to say anything more than the fact that it is happening.���������
Was this a long-cherished dream, or is this the businessman in Nagarjuna who���������s at play again? ���������It���������s exciting to think that our city will have its own racing team now, that too in a motor sports league backed by none other than Sachin Tendulkar. So yes, it will be like a dream come true. Coming to the business part of it, a group of people are involved in getting this whole thing together. If things work out as planned, I will be the brand ambassador for the Hyderabad team.���������
Adding that he can���������t wait to get on board, Nag says, ���������It���������s wonderful how sports enthusiasts like me can be a part of sporting events that were once enjoyed only from a distance. I did watch a couple of F1 races abroad in the past, and have always been enthusiastic about motor sports and racing. This one will be a whole new concept, and I am very excited.���������
