Nagarjuna had a sweet surprise in store for Vennela Kishore on his first day of shoot for 'Manmadhudu 2'

The sequel to the 2002 hit film sees Vennela Kishore as the comedian, in lieu of Brahmanandam in the previous film. The ‘Goodachari’ actor joined shoot on Sunday and the film’s lead actor Nagarjuna had a special surprise waiting for him. Sharing the picture of the gift basket he had waiting for him on first day of shoot on social media, Vennela Kishore wrote, “This was the sweet surprise waiting for me in my make up room. My first day for Manmadhudu 2. Thank you Nag sir.” (sic)


Nagarjuna even included a personal note with the gift basket, which read, “We are so happy you accepted to be a part of this journey. It will be all the more memorable because of you. Let’s go make some fun memories. Welcome on board Manmadhudu 2.” (sic) Director Rahul Ravindran too, welcoming his good friend on board wrote, “And my bae joined us today.” (sic)


But what caught the attention of fans more was conversation in the comments of Rahul’s post between ‘Chitralahari’ actor Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore, Adivi Sesh and Rahul Ravindran is worth noting too. When Brahmaji jokingly wrote, “chaala kulluga vundi kaka..” (sic) and Vennela Kishore replied with, “Anna.. ee Madhya nannu concentrate chesthunnaventee..?? Bhayamestundhi,” (sic) talking of an inside joke, Sai Dharam Tej wrote, ““Chronicles” kosam aina bayapadli meeru” (sic) When ‘Major’ star Adivi Sesh showed interest in being cast in his friend Rahul’s films and wrote, “Wish i could also join ra. Wish you would cast me in your movies.” (sic) Rahul and Vennela replied with, “Switch to whatsapp neeku chepta,” (sic) and “Adey kada..eedu twitter lo 'tum bin' antaadu..whatsapp lo 'tum koun' antaadu..screenplay!!!” (sic)
