Naga Shourya-starrer, ‘Chalo’ and ‘Kanam’ to release in February

Tollywood star, Naga Shourya is playing the lead role in two upcoming movies, ‘Chalo’ and ‘Kanam.’ Directed by Venky Kudumula, ‘Chalo’ will be released on February 2, while ‘Kanam’ is likely to release on February 9, say latest reports.
Set in a fictional town on Andhra-Tamil Nadu border, ‘Chalo’ narrates an interesting college love story. Naga Shourya is pairing up with Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna who earned laurels for her performance in blockbuster, ‘Kirik Party.’ He plays a youth who goes to the town from his home in Hyderabad.
The actor will be seen with ‘Fidaa’ heroine Sai Pallavi in the bilingual movie, ‘Kanam.’ Said to be a horror drama, it has been named ‘Karu' in Tamil. Sai Pallavi plays the mother of a four-year-old in the movie, which also marks her Tamil debut. Directed by AL Vijay, ‘Kanam’ will be focusing on abortion.
