Is Naga Chaitanya venturing into a thriller with director Karthik Dandu

One of the most renowned names in the South Indian film industry, Naga Chaitanya is working on his upcoming rustic romance-drama film 'Thandel', showcasing the character of a fisherman. The actor is suggested to be making a thriller film next.

A Gulte report suggests that Naga Chaitanya has teamed up with director Karthik Dandu for this venture which is expected to be more than a pan-Indian film, with its thrilling adventures.

Earlier in August, Karthik Dandu teased the beginning of the pre-production of a mythical thriller. There is speculation if it may be the project that Naga Chaitanya might be seen in. Previously there were links with Megastar Chiranjeevi for this project, and it looks now that Karthik Dandu will steer his directorial vision towards Naga Chaitanya in this venture.

Although there aren't many specifics about the movie yet, fans are excited for Naga Chaitanya's venture into the thriller genre.

'Thadel' revolves around the fisherman community, where the protagonist, Naga Chaitanya, during one of his outings finds himself locked in a Pakistani jail. The film is expected to be a romance drama film. The leading lady in the film will be played by Sai Pallavi.
