The one minute 48 seconds long trailer sees Naga Chaitanya introduce himself as Chaitanya, alias Chaitu. He reveals that he carries a positive attitude for life and believes that anything worth having needs to be earned. Murli Sharma is introduced as his father, Anu Emmanuel as his lover Anu and the powerhouse Ramya Krishnan as his to-be mother-in-law. Vennela Kishore too is introduced as his friend Chari.

Judging by the trailer, the film seems to be a romantic comedy that sees the egoistic natures of the characters of Anu and her mother. It sees Chaitu, his love and good nature stuck between the mother and daughter’s egos.

Maruthi, Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel and Ramya Krishnan shared the trailers on their social media. Naga Chaitanya, talking about the trailer’s release yesterday wrote, “Yes yes yes the trailer of #ShailajaReddyAlludu will be out tomorrow .. nervous , excited and at the same time confident @DirectorMaruthi writing ki pakka andharu navvi navvi enjoy chesthaar ani .. so cant wait to show you all .. see you guys tomorrow!!” (sic)

and a few lyrical videos of the film that is all set for release on September 13. The film sees music composed by Gopi Sunder.
