'Naayak', 'Aagadu', 'S/O Satyamurthy': 5 must-watch movies of legendary actor Brahmanandam

The senior actor-turned-comedian, Brahmanandam, has been captivating the audience for years with his talent, having shared the screen with almost every leading actor in South India. The actor has witnessed the growth of Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR, serving as both a co-actor and a guide. Directed by Tharun Bhascker, ‘Keeda Cola’ stars Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Rag Mayur, Brahmanandam, Tharun Bhascker, Jeevan Kumar, Vishnu Oi, Ravindra Vijay, and Raghu Ram in the leading roles. The music is composed by Vivek Sagar. It was released on November 3, 2023, to positive reviews from the critics and had an OTT release on December 29, 2023. Brahmanandam played Varadaraju, the grandfather of the protagonist.

Directed by Krishna Vamsi, ‘Rangamarthanda’ stars Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, and Brahmanandam in the main roles, along with Shivathmika Rajashekar, Rahul Sipligunj, Ali Reza, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in supporting roles. It was released on March 22, 2023, and features music by Ilaiyaraaja. Brahmanandam plays Chakrapanithe, the best friend of Prakash Raj's character.

Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Aagadu,’ directed by Srinu Vaitla, featured a supporting role for Brahmanandam. It stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Rajendra Prasad, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Nassar. Despite not performing well at the box office, it later gained recognition for its music and tracks, marking the 50th movie of Music Director S Thaman.
