At a recent successful event for 'Daaku Maharaaj', renowned composer Thaman Shivakumar Ghantasala shared his enthusiasm for 'Akhanda 2', praising the director's work. He described the first half of the film as "paisa vasool" (value for money) and referred to the second half as a bonus as per a Gulte report.

The production of 'Akhanda 2' began during the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, where Boyapati filmed key montage shots to set the stage for Balakrishna's introduction scene. Following this schedule, the director scouted locations in Gudimetla Village near Nandigama for crucial scenes.

The sequel will bring back Balakrishna's iconic character, Akhanda, who will face new challenges within a socio-political context. Pragya Jaiswal is also set to reprise her role alongside Balakrishna.

Balakrishna is currently enjoying the success of 'Daaku Maharaaj', where he plays an officer turned dacoit fighting against oppression, fans are eager to see how he will further develop his character in 'Akhanda 2'.
