who bankrolled several blockbusters like Shatruvu, Okkadu, Varsham and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, has donned the director’s hat for Vaana (2008), the Telugu remake of Kannada hit Mungaru Male. After eight long years since his second directorial Tuneega Tuneega, the veteran producer is staging a comeback with the upcoming film ‘
Dirty Hari
’. Introducing Shravan Reddy as the protagonist, the romantic thriller features
Ruhani Sharma and
Simrat Kaur as the leading ladies. The long-delayed project was initially supposed to star big-ticket actresses but, MS Raju decided to helm with newcomers.
According to the makers, the post-production works of Dirty Hari have been recently wrapped up and the film is ready for release. While speculations are rife that MS Raju is making negotiations with
OTT
platforms to sell the digital rights of the film, there is no official confirmation on the news. The trailer is expected to release soon.
While the first look poster of the film showcased Shravan Reddy sitting semi-naked in the bathtub with a girl, the second pic introduced Ruhani as Vasudha and the third picture showed lingerie-clad Simrat Kaur as Jasmine. Touted to be a bold romantic thriller with a contemporary theme, the film is presented by Guduru Shiva Rama Krishna and produced by Guduru Sateesh Babu and Guduru Sai Puneeth.
