Businessman Satish Reddy released the first look of the movie whereas, Sudarshan Reddy released the trailer. Speaking at the event, film director J. Mohan Kant said "Amitabh Bachchan’... this name is a sensation in India. We named our film with the above name due to its popularity, but this is not a biopic of Bollywood actor Amitabh. ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ is a good love story. The whole family can enjoy this film. The movie has come out well. We are confident that the audience will love it. It has all the commercial ingredients to enjoy it."

The film stars Surya and Ritu Sri as the lead pair in the movie, while Chillara Venu and
Unni Krishna
play other important roles. The film’s music was composed by Ashreet Iyengar, while its cinematography was handled by
Kiran Dasari
