Mohan Babu clarifies false bail claims; Says, "False propaganda is being circulated"

Veteran actor Mohan Babu has recently clarified the status of his anticipatory bail petition amidst reports of its rejection. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he stated that claims of his bail being denied are false and is currently receiving medical care at home. He urged the media to report accurate information regarding his situation.

On the social media website he wrote, "False propaganda is being circulated.! Anticipatory bail has NOT been rejected and currently. I am under medical care in my home. I request the media to get the facts right."

This clarification comes after the Telangana High Court reportedly dismissed his anticipatory bail plea related to an alleged assault on a journalist. The incident occurred on December 10 outside his Hyderabad residence, where Mohan Babu is accused of attacking a journalist who was covering a family dispute involving the actor and his son, Manoj. Following the altercation, a police complaint was filed against him, leading to serious charges under Section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Earlier on X, Mohan Babu expressed regret over the incident, describing it as an impulsive reaction in a chaotic moment when a group of individuals allegedly forced their way into his home. He claimed he was trying to protect himself and those inside from potential harm when the journalist inadvertently got caught up in the situation. The actor conveyed his apologies to the journalist for any pain caused during the confrontation.

Mohan Babu also mentioned that he had been hospitalized for health reasons over the past few days, which prevented him from addressing the situation sooner.
