The feud between veteran actor
Mohan Babu and his younger son,
Manchu Manoj has been receiving eyeballs. Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing Manoj's bouncers attempting to enter the family home in Jalpally, Hyderabad, which led to a chaotic scene on Tuesday. In the footage, circulating on the internet, Mohan Babu is seen expressing his anger towards media representatives who were present there.
In a post shared by Surya Reddy on X (formerly Twitter), it seems that the conflict began when Manoj arrived at the family residence with his wife, Mounika, seeking access to see their daughter, who was reportedly inside. However, security personnel denied them entry, leading to a confrontation. Manoj pleaded for the gate to be opened but was met with resistance. During the scuffle, he was pushed out of the premises, and tensions flared as Mohan Babu confronted the media, grabbing a microphone in frustration.
According to media reports, Mohan Babu filed a complaint at the Rachakonda police station, citing concerns for his safety. He alleged that Manoj had returned home after several months and caused disruption by bringing along 30 unidentified individuals who threatened the household staff. The actor expressed fears that Manoj and Mounika intended to take over his property permanently.
Manchu Manoj also lodged a complaint at the Pahadishareef police station, claiming that he was attacked by approximately ten people at his home. He accused two individuals of tampering with CCTV footage of the incident and requested a thorough investigation into what he described as an intentional assault.
The rift between Manoj and his father has been brewing for years, primarily revolving around issues of property division and favouritism within the family.
