Anushka Shetty is one of the most loved actresses in Tollywood. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the last two and a half years for her next project announcement. It has been rumoured for the past few days that she will be playing opposite young Tollywood actor
Naveen Polishetty. It seems to be true that the two are teaming up for a project. The official announcement of their film is out on Wednesday, March 1. It has been titled 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'.
Anushka Shetty took to her Twitter and shared the title and first-look posters of the film. Sharing the poster, she wrote, ''Introducing #MissShettyMrPolishetty to you all Get ready for a Rollercoaster ride of Entertainment this Summer.''
This is the 48th film for Anushka Shetty while Naveen’s third film as the lead. Directed by Mahesh Babu P of 'Ra Ra... Krishnayya' fame, the film has music composed by Rathan. Nirav Shah has been roped in to crank the camera while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will be in charge of editing. Rajivan Nambiar is the production designer.
Anushka was last seen in 'Nishabdam', which was directed and released on an OTT on October 2, 2020. She was seen playing a deaf and dumb woman in the movie. Naveen Polishetty made his Tollywood debut with Sekhar Kammula’s 'Life is Beautiful'. He turned to lead with 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya' (2019), for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. He then followed it up with, 'Jathi Ratnalu' (2021), which was a blockbuster hit.
