'Mirai': Ram Gopal Varma calls Teja Sajja's film 'Hollywood standard'; Nani joins in praise

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has come forward with strong praise for Teja Sajja’s latest fantasy-action thriller 'Mirai'.Taking to X (formerly Twitter), RGV called the film an “industry hit” and said it reminded him of the same excitement that surrounded Baahubali.The ace director's Tweet reads, “A BIG SHOUT OUT to @tejasajja123…@Karthik_gatta and @vishwaprasadtg for delivering an INDUSTRY HIT.. Not since ‘BAAHUBALI’ did I hear such UNANIMOUS PRAISE for any other film #Mirai.. Both the VFX and the Narrative GRIP are of HOLLYWOOD STANDARD."It’s not just RGV who has been impressed. Several Tollywood stars have also expressed their admiration for the film and its team.Actor Nani took to social media and shared, “Wow #Mirai. @tejasajja123 congratulations ra. Earlier, Ravi Teja had also extended his wishes, making it clear that the film has captured the attention of both audiences and stars alike.On the box office front, 'Mirai' is off to a roaring start. According to early estimates by the Sacnilk website, the film collected Rs 13.50 crore on Saturday, taking its two-day total to Rs 26.50 crore across all languages.Much like Teja’s earlier hit 'Hanuman', the film’s biggest draw remains the Telugu markets, where occupancy reached an impressive 71.57% on Saturday, with afternoon shows peaking at 80.93%. The Hindi belt is showing steady but slower growth, with occupancy at 20.90% in the afternoon and 27.83% by night. The movie is expected to mint more numbers in the coming days.
