Teja Sajja’s Mirai hit theaters on September 12 and has been receiving a strong response from audiences. The film is being praised for its stunning visuals, VFX, and background score. As per reports, the film has already crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office. Amid this buzz, details about how much the cast charged for the film are doing the rounds on the internet. Here’s a look.

According to 123Telugu, actor Manchu Manoj, who played the antagonist Mahabir Lama, was the highest-paid actor in the film, reportedly receiving Rs 3 crore. Teja Sajja, who plays the lead role of Vedha, charged Rs 2 crore.Ritika Nayak, who appeared as Vedha’s mentor, was paid Rs 50 lakh. Shriya Saran, who played Vedha’s mother, took home Rs 2 crore. Jagapathi Babu, who had a short appearance, charged Rs 1.5 crore, while Jayaram reportedly received ₹80 lakh.

'Mirai' box office collection

According to Sacnilk, Mirai has earned Rs 61.5 crore in six days since its release. The film opened to Rs 13 crore on day one and collected Rs 57 crore in its first five days. Early estimates suggest day six brought in Rs 4.5 crore, taking the total to Rs 61.5 crore.However, reports note that the film is now facing competition from the Demon Slayer movie.
