Mike Tyson enjoys Indian food with Vijay Deverakonda; recreates famous ear bite with Ananya Panday on the sets of Liger

Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda, Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, Puri Jagannadh and the rest of the team of Liger are currently in Las Vegas shooting for the film with Mike Tyson.
Excited about shooting with the former heavy-weight champion, the team of Liger shared pictures from sets, writing, “LIGER Team having the best time working with the Supercool LEGEND @miketyson, a man full of heart. (sic)” In the pictures the team can be seen posing with the boxing legend for pictures while Ananya chooses to hilariously recreate the (in)famous ear bite that Tyson is known for apart from his skills in the ring.

For the uninitiated, in 1997 when fighting Evander Holyfield in the ring, Tyson was so annoyed by the way his opponent was sparring, he bit his ear off. The fight has come to be known as ‘the bite fight’ through the years and fans of the boxing legend wonder if he will get a chance to recreate it on-screen for Liger too. While Tyson has acted before, famously in The Hungover series, this will be the first time he’s seen in an Indian film.
What’s more, the team even organised a special Indian lunch for Tyson and his wife Kiki as he’s a fan of Indian food. Tyson binged on garlic naan, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, fish tikka masala and goat biryani for lunch. He specially asked for aloo gobi, palak paneer, samosa and kebabs. The team of Liger were happy to give him the delicious food he requested for.
Shooting for Liger is currently in progress in Las Vegas and key scenes are being canned. The film has been shot in Mumbai, with schedules delayed due to the on-going pandemic. It remains to be seen when the film will be wrapped up and hit screens. Expectations are high not just due to Tyson’s cameo but because this will mark Vijay’s debut in Bollywood while Ananya debuts down South. Further details are awaited.
