'Mehbooba' clears censor formalities

Director Puri Jagannath’s upcoming film ‘Mehbooba’ that introduces his son Akash Puri in the lead role is all set to hit screens on May 11. Recently there were apprehensions that the film might face censor formalities as it is set in the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war. But as per latest updates the film has cleared its censor formalities with no cuts bagging a U/A certificate.
Touted to be a gripping romantic drama the film has Neha Shetty as the female lead. The film also has Vishu Reddy and Murali Krishna in pivotal roles. Sandeep Chowta has composed music for the film. The recently released teaser and trailer of the film received overwhelming response from the audience. The film managed to create a decent buzz for quiet sometime and as per reports producer Dil Raju bagged the movie's distribution rights for whopping price.
