With the festive season just around the corner, Megastar
Chiranjeevi is all set for a grand return to the silver screen this Sankranthi with "Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu," scheduled to release on January 12. Directed by the talented
Anil Ravipudi, the film has created quite a buzz with its trailers and is expected to be a Sankranthi blockbuster of the year. The film will surely offer the viewers a filling caggappulu of commercial entertainment, the masterpiece of comedy, emotions, and feeling moments that Director Anil and Chiranjeevi Garu have diligently moulded.
Chiranjeevi makes an important confirmation
The most controversial news from the film’s promotions was at its pre-release event on Sunday night. Talking to fans, Chiranjeevi admitted that “wow, wow, why not?” which had become the center of attention during the promotions of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, is present in the film. "Megastar used it wisely. He heard the audience shout... it raised the temperature for the film's comedy," he said.
Chiranjeevi backs Anil Ravipudi’s comic timing and festive appeal
Chiranjeevi elaborated that the controversial dialogue was positioned perfectly in the screenplay and did not come across as being oft-placed. This has done nothing but add to the anticipation that ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ will be a gut-busting rib-tickler well within the wheelhouse of a family entertainer. Anil Ravipudi, on the back of a Rs. 300 crore movie-goers this Sankranthi, has logically pushed up the hype for the Chiranjeevi movie to feverish proportions.
Nayanthara’s reunion with Chiranjeevi
Adding to the film's charm is the presence of Nayanthara as the film's leading lady along with Chiranjeevi reuniting on-screen. The film also boasts of a stellar supporting cast that includes Catherine Tresa, Sachin Khedekar, Harsha Vardhan, Abhinav Gomatam and Sharad Saxena among others. With the film's release date drawing closer, there is a lot of excitement brewing.
