Meena wants to play negative roles in films?

Child actor-turned-heroine Meena made a name for herself in the showbiz with her charming screen presence and spectacular performances in films. She was a lovable actress of Telugu cinema, who looked like a real girl living next door. She acted in nearly 100 films in her career in various languages. Began her career as a child artist, Meena went on to become a successful leading ladies of South Indian film industry.
She is best known for her roles in films such as Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu, Chanti, Rajeswari Kalyanam, Sundarakanda, President Gari Pellam, Muta Mesthri, Abbaigaru, Bobbili Simham, to name a few. She recently made her debut on OTT platform with a web series which was received positive reviews from the audiences.
During an interview, Meena revealed that she wanted to play negative roles in films. She would love to play villainous roles if they will be intriguing and engaging. She opens to doing something unusual and is ready to break away from her bubbly and positive image in Tollywood.
Meena was last seen playing opposite Daggubati Venkatesh in Drushyam, which was a super hit. Also featuring Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika Jayakumar and Esther Anil, the suspense drama is a remake of Jeethu Joseph's 2013 Malayalam hit film Drishyam.
