'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha' trailer released by Mahesh Babu

of Shammeer Sultan’s upcoming ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’ was released by Mahesh Babu yesterday.

The film is Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden production and director Tharun Bhascker’s

debut

,” (sic) wrote the ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ star, sharing the trailer on his social media. Thanking him, Deverakonda wrote, “My first production had to be launched by you. Thank You Superstar!” (sic)


Sharing the trailer, the ‘Fighter’ actor wrote, “Every phone has a secret! You better hope yours doesn't become Viral - If it does "Jagame Maaya - Bathuke Battal Sardhukoni Poya" #KingOfTheHill Entertainment and Team #MeekuMaathrameCheptha bring you the trailer of our First Production. #MMCTrailer.” (sic)


The trailer sees a voice-over by Vennela Kishore and the film stars Abhinav Gomatam, Naveen George Thomas, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Vani Bhojan, Avantika Mishra, Vinay Varma, Pavani Gangireddy in key roles. Sivakumar will compose music for the film which seems to be a comedy caper about an incriminating video going viral the day of the groom’s wedding day. Tharun Bhascker did a stupendous job, judging by the trailer, and it remains to be seen how he’ll fare in the film.
