in 2004, on Thursday completed his 16 years in the film industry. The actor is known for his work in the movies like Nenu Meeku Telusa...?, Prayanam, Bindaas, Vedam, Jhummandi Naadam, Mr Nookayya, Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?, Potugadu, to name a few.

. This is to notice that Manoj won the best CineMAA Award for his performance in this film which had music by Dhina. Written and directed by Subramaniam Siva, the film featured an ensemble cast of Sadha, Sunil, Manikka Vinayagam, Rajiv Kanakala, Vinaya Prasad, Varsha, Tejashree, Telangana Shakuntala, Dharmavarapu SubramanyamKondavalasa, Lakshmana Rao, and AVS among others. He gained massive popularity after working in films like Nenu Meeku Telusa...? Prayanam, Bindaas etc. From Donga Dongadi to Okkadu Migiladu, Manoj has over the years proved that he could be an entertainer.
On the work front, Manchu Manoj was last seen in Ajay Andrews Nuthakki’s Okkadu Migiladu in which he played the role of a student leader Surya. The film also starred Anisha Ambrose, Milind Gunaji, Murali Mohan, Krishna Murali Posani and Suhasini. He will be next seen in a pan-Indian project titled
Aham Brahmashmi
. The movie will be helmed by Srikanth Reddy and produced by Manchu Manoj. Achu Rajamani and Ramesh Thamilmani are composing music. Tamil actress Priya Bhavani Shankar is the leading lady of the movie.
