Major Trailer: Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar starrer's theatrical trailer to be out on May 9

Sashi Kiran Tikka’s Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar starrer Major is one of the most awaited films from Tollywood.
The makers took to social media on Wednesday to announce that the theatrical trailer of the film will be out on May 9. Sharing the news on social media, Adivi Sesh wrote, “HEAT Begins #MajorTrailer Shall explode ALL INDIA on May 9. (sic)” The film is slated for release on June 3 and the film’s team is promoting the film aggressively.The makers also released a video for the announcement, which gives glimpses of Adivi Sesh and other actors from the film.

Major was shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and the video sees how the scenes look in both languages. The trailer was screened to a special few in Mumbai and the response has been great, claims the film’s team. Based on the life of 26/11 martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the film will also see Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murli Sharma and others in key roles. The makers also plan to dub Major in Malayalam, out of respect to the late Major and his family.

While Major seems to explore a lot of what went down during the fateful day of 26/11, the film also aims to be a celebration of Sandeep’s life. It remains to be seen how the trailer will be received once its released to the public.
