‘Major’ actor Adivi Sesh hails Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’; calls Ranveer Singh starrer ’country’s biggest film’

Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar’ is receiving roaring reviews and numbers at the box office. The movie, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released on December 5, 2025, and fellow actors have been sharing their take on the film. Recently, ‘Major’ actor Adivi Sesh took to his social media handle to call it the “biggest country’s biggest film,” made “so well” as he watched the movie.

Adivi Sesh shares his review

On his X (formerly Twitter) handle, he praised the director for showing the grey areas so subtly, making it look like an international presentation. He wrote, “Loved #Dhurandhar! Late to the party in watching the country’s biggest film, but it’s so well done. It’s an amazing achievement from you, @AdityaDharFilms, sir, to show so many grays with subtlety. Absolutely international presentation on such a relevant topic.”

He also mentioned that the film was like a new experience for someone who also researched well about 26/11 for his own film. “As someone who researched 26/11 so much for Major, it was an entirely new experience for me to see how the ISI’s handlers were empowered by the Lyari underworld. My heart broke and my blood boiled when I saw that,” his post read.

Special mention for the cast

He later heaped praise on the cast members. “Superb performances from the entire cast, everyone from @RanveerOfficial garu to @ActorMadhavan Garu. My favorite was undoubtedly the magnificent #AkshayeKhanna ji as Rehman Dakait and Rakesh Bedi ji as Jameel. The extraordinary music, international cinematography, and overall craft made for a memorable experience. I’ll be watching it again soon.”

Adivis Sesh’s next film

Speaking of his work front, Adivi Sesh is working on his upcoming movie, ‘Dacoit,’ starring alongside Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. It also features filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in a special role. The movie was expected to have a Christmas release date. However, it got delayed and is now slated to release on March 19th, 2026.
