Mahesh Babu has 7 Rs 100-crore films to his name so far

'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' has entered the 100 crore club. The film is also actor Mahesh Babu’s seventh century so far, and his fourth century in a row. SVP is also one of those films where a double-century was on the cards with a lower end expectation of around Rs 150 crore. With seven centuries to his name, Mahesh Babu has now topped the first position when it comes to the highest count of 100 crore club films that any Tollywood actor has earned. Dookudu

Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, 'Dookudu' was the first film of Mahesh Babu to enter into an elite 100 crore club. It has been an unbelievable run for Mahesh ever since he scored his first century with this action comedy-drama that was released in 2011. From then on, he's had seven consecutive films join this club. According to the reports, the film grossed nearly Rs. 131 crores at the worldwide box office. Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the leading lady, it was bankrolled by 14 Reels Entertainment.

Srimanthudu

Mahesh Babu’s 'Srimanthudu' had achieved a massive feat, infusing some much-needed positivity in the Telugu film industry. The handsome hunk managed to turn heads with his role in the Koratala Siva directorial film, and the movie did amazingly well at the box office with a collection of 140 crores. Besides bankrolling the film, Mahesh had also played the lead role in it. The movie opened to packed houses and positive reviews upon its release in 2015, which was a very satisfactory outcome for the makers.

Spyder

AR Murugadoss directed Spyder became Mahesh Babu’s third Rs 100 crore grosser, cementing the actor's superstardom in the industry. Even his weakest film Spyder has achieved this rare feat. Overall, the film has earned over Rs 150 crore at the worldwide box office. For the unversed, Spyder features Mahesh Babu and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. It was jointly produced by NVR Cinema LLP and Reliance Entertainment.

Bharat Ane Nenu

Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva repeated their magic at the box office with the 2018 blockbuster hit Bharat Ane Nenu. With Bharat Ane Nenucrossing Rs 100 crore, Mahesh Babu has got four films that have achieved the feat in the state – Dookudu, Srumanthudu, and Spyder. The film grossed over Rs 185 crore at the worldwide box office and has been declared a ‘blockbuster’ hit. DVV Danayya backed the project under his home banner DVV Entertainment.

Maharshi

Director Vamshi Paidipally’s action drama Maharshi, featuring Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in the lead, has grossed a whopping Rs 187 crore at the box office, making it a blockbuster. The National Award winning film has Mahesh Babu playing the CEO of an MNC company who comes to the aid of his friend with whom he studies in the college. His performance was appreciated a lot, and thanks to the Vamshi Paidipally directorial.

Sarileru Neekevvaru

Anil Ravipudi’s 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' has not just become a blockbuster down South, but the film has also set the cash registers ringing at the box office. The action-comedy has become one of the Tollywood films to enter the Rs 100 crore club. The film, which was released on Pongal, has turned out to be the biggest hit of 2020, earning Rs 250 in the long run. Bankrolled by Sri Venkateswara Creations, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and AK Entertainments, it has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster in the career of Mahesh Babu.
