Mahesh Babu’s latest outing
Sarileru Neekevvaru
has emerged as the first blockbuster of Telugu cinema in 2020. Released on the occasion of Sankranthi, the big-budget actioner garnered a thunderous response from both the masses and family audience with a worldwide gross of over Rs 200 crore in less than two weeks. Along with Mahesh’s performance and Vijayashanthi’s screen presence, the hilarious comedy and the foot-tapping ‘Mind Block’ has created a rage in the theaters. For the first time in recent years, the Prince of Tollywood has stunned the viewers’ with his terrific dance moves.
Reacting on the film’s monstrous success, Mahesh Babu’s father and veteran superstar Krishna conveyed his message through a short video. Mentioning that the Anil Ravipudi directorial will certainly have a long run in the theaters; the 76-year-old actor hailed the producer for not compromising on the production values and the director for keeping the proceedings interesting throughout the duration.
