Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu shared his birthday wishes to Bollywood's Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, as the 'King' actor turned 60. Praising SRK's passion, kindness, and unwavering love for cinema, the 'SSMB29' shared a throwback picture with the superstar.

With the picture featuring Shah Rukh Khan with himself and his wife Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh wrote, "Happy birthday Shah Rukh Khan on your big one!! Both stars lent their voices to the respective Telugu and Hindi versions of 'Mufasa: The Lion King', which was released in 2024. While Shah Rukh voiced the Hindi character of Mufasa, Mahesh brought the same regal energy to the Telugu version.

On the professional front, Mahesh Babu is gearing up for his much-anticipated collaboration with ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli in the upcoming global adventure epic, tentatively titled 'SSMB29'. The film also stars global icon Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran, and is set to be a large-scale international action drama.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, who dominated 2023 with blockbusters like 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan', is set to return to the big screen with another massy action entertainer, 'King'. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the makers released the teaser introducing SRK's first look from the film in a ruthless mafia avatar with grey hair and beard.

The teaser features a powerful voiceover where Shah Rukh describes his character as a feared assassin wanted in multiple countries for thousands of murders. He is someone who sees fear in his enemy's eyes and the world only knows him by the name "King."
