The great actor started his career in Indian cinema with Apoorva Raagangal in the year 1975. Rajinikanth's four-decade career is studded with acclaimed classics such as Mullum Malarum, Thalapathi, Baasha, Padaiyappa, Sivaji, Thillu Mullu, Enthiran, Annamalai, Muthu, Arunachalam, Billa, Aarilirindhu Aruvathu Varai, Apoorva Raagangal, Chandramukhi, Pathinaru Vayathinile, to name a few. Rajinikanth was last seen in Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraju. The actor will be next seen in AR Murugadoss' Darbar. He will be seen essaying a cop Aadhithya Arunachalam in the movie.
Talking about his personal life, he got married Latha in 1981. They both share two daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya.
