Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 70. In a video posted from her home, his granddaughter Sitara appeared to be deeply shaken by her grandmom’s passing. Sitara was seen crying in the video that was shared by the Mahesh’s fans. A lot of Telugu film industry actors and filmmakers showed up at Indira Devi’s home to pay their respects.
At the funeral, Sitara could not stop crying over the sudden demise of her grandmother Indira Devi. A video shows Mahesh Babu comforting Sitara and giving a handkerchief as the latter struggles to contain her tears. A fan account of Mahesh took to Twitter to share a clip of Sitara in tears as the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor consoles her. The video was captioned, ''I cannot control my tears #Sitara & #MaheshBabu Stay Strong @urstrulyMahesh.''

Indira Devi had been suffering from health related issues for a few days. She was admitted to a private hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, and was treated under the supervision of experienced doctors for about a month. Despite the best efforts of the doctors, Indira Devi passed away this morning. She passed away at her residence in Hyderabad. Age-related health problems seem to be the cause of her death. Ghattamaneni's family members are mourning the death of Indira Devi.
