Mahesh Babu and Vijay's fans fight it out again

Telugu and Tamil stars’ fans battling it out on social media and trolling actors of other languages seem to become commonplace these days.
On Tuesday, Mahesh Babu and Thalapathy Vijay fans went on a verbal war, abusing the actors and fans both. While it’s unclear how the argument was set off #RemakeStarVijay and #DummyStarMahesh kept trending on social media. Mahesh’s fans lashed out at Vijay’s fans and vice-versa till Prabhas, Allu Arjun and few other stars’ fans too joined in.The melee seems to have died down for now.
Last time this happened was in January, when Venkatesh’s Asuran remake Narappa look released and hashtags like #TeluguRealHeroes and #UnrivalledTamilActors began trending on social media. An exasperated Siddharth even had to point out about fans’ paithyam when Dhanush, Ram Charan, Vijay, Mahesh Babu and more were brought into it.
