Samantha Ruth Prabhu has finally confirmed during an Instagram Q&A session on Sunday that her film 'Maa Inti Bangaram' will go on floors this month.



When a fan asked about her next Telugu film, the 'Kushi' actress said, "Finally, I have an answer to this question. Maa Inti Bangaram is finally starting this month."

About 'Maa Inti Bangaram'

'Maa Inti Bangaram' was originally announced in April 2024 on her birthday. Since then, speculation around its progress had been swirling with no concrete update, until now. The film is said to be helmed by director Nandini Reddy, a close friend and frequent collaborator of Samantha. The duo previously delivered hits like 'Oh! Baby' and 'Jabardasth'.

As per a motion poster released on her birthday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is seen in an intense look. She is seen donning a saare and holding a shotgun in her hands, suggesting she will be seen in a rugged and action-packed avatar.

Interestingly, 'Maa Inti Bangaram' will be bankrolled by Samantha Ruth Prabhu's own production banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, which she launched last year. With the actress doubling up as both lead and producer. This will be her second outing as a producer after the horror comedy film 'Subham' was highly appreciated by fans.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in the spy action web series, 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', co-starring with Varun Dhawan. It marked her comeback. She had stepped away from films in 2023 after being diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune condition. Over the past year, she's been open about her recovery and gradual return to work.

Additionally, she is also part of the upcoming web series 'Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom', created by acclaimed duo Raj & DK.
