‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ poster: Makers unveil Gulshan Devaiah as Karuna in Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming action drama

Actor Gulshan Devaiah will be making his Telugu debut in Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming comedy action drama film, ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ directed by Nandini Reddy. On Wednesday the makers revealed the character which will be played by him, who is named Karuna.

Sharing the poster of the production house owned by Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to its social media to share the poster of Gulshan Devaiah in the film and wrote, "Composed yet chaotic. Earlier the maker also shared the trailer of the film. It begins with Samantha arriving at her boyfriend’s house, where family members ask her several questions about her name, background, caste, cooking skills, and family details. However, Samantha surprises everyone by asking, “Do you know who I really am?”



As the trailer moves forward, it becomes clear that her character is hiding a mysterious past from the family. Though she appears calm on the outside, she is shown fighting dangerous men and protecting her loved ones.

At one point, Samantha says, “Be it a hero or a housewife, when the dialogue lands right, it can scare anyone.” The dialogue has already become popular among fans on social media.

The trailer suggests that Maa Inti Bangaaram is not just an action film but also a family drama filled with emotions. Samantha’s character talks about how society expects women to be perfect daughters-in-law who can cook, sing, and behave properly. She then says she may not have those qualities, but she can do anything to protect her family.


The film is created by filmmaker and Samantha’s husband Raj Nidimoru and directed by Nandini Reddy, the film also stars Diganth, Sree Mukhi, Gautami, Anand, Lakshmi, Srinivas Gavireddy, and Manjusha in important roles.

The movie is releasing on June 19.
