'Lucky Baskhar' first review: 'Kalki 2898 AD' producer calls it brilliant

The Telugu film 'Lucky Baskhar' is all set for its release in theatres on October 31 for Diwali. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam. Though the film does not clash at the box office with any other Telugu film, in Tamil it will be against Jayam Ravi's 'Brother', Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' and 'Kavin's 'Bloody Beggar'. Though 'Brother' and 'Bloody Beggar' are not a big threat, Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' is a big challenge to the Dulquer Salmaan starrer as it has Sai Pallavi playing the female lead in the movie.
While the anticipation is high for 'Lucky Baskhar', 'Kalki 2898 AD' producer Swapnadutt took to social media to share the first review of the film. The producer shared her admiration for Dulquer Salmaan and called the film brilliant. In an Instagram story, Swapna wrote, "Blockbuster Bhaskar on the way this Diwali. My friend Dulquer Salmaan, oh no…Baskhar was just brilliant as usual… Venky Atluri so well made… Meenakshi Chaudhary were so good. THE WORLD OF BhASKAR IS V COOL.”
Directed by Venky Atluri, the movie is a periodcrime financial thriller and the story revolves around the banker named Baskhar who leads a middle class life with wife and son but in his quest to greater financial success, he gets a fortune and creates a benefit of doubt.
The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramki, Ayesha Khan, Hyper Aadi, Sai Kumar in important roles

On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan was last seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD' in a cameo and the actor has signed up for the film 'Aakasam Lo Oka Tara' with director Pavan Sadinenei and it is a romantic drama and the movie is scheduled for a release in 2025 in Tamil, Telugu Malayalam and Hindi.
He is currently shooting for the film 'Kaantha' directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. The movie is produced by Rana Daggubati and actress Bhagyashri Borse will be playing the female lead.
