Lights, camera... Vijay & Keerthy!
The stage is set for a long-awaited reunion. Seven years after sharingthe screen in the 2018 blockbuster Mahanati, Vijay Deverakonda and Keerthy Suresh are coming together again. In the National Award-winning biopic of Tollywood icon Savitri, Vijay appeared briefly, while Keerthy delivered the film’s defining performance. Their upcoming collaboration, directed by Rowdy Janardhan’s Ravi Kiran Kola, places them firmly at the centre of the story. A source from the film’s team revealed, “Vijay and Keerthi never shared a scene in Mahanati, so this will be the first time they are headlining a film together. It is a rural action drama, with the shoot scheduled to begin in October once Vijay wraps up his period drama with Rahul Sankrityan. The filmmakers are planning a wide release in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
