Stating that man has always tramped over virus at all times in history, the national award-winning filmmaker explained why he had to release his statement at this moment. “From the past few days, several media personals have been approaching me through phone calls, e-mails and messages for doing special stories on my birthday. I wasn’t able to attend them as I got contracted with COVID-19 on September 9. The CT scan results showed that the symptoms are very mild and home quarantine would be sufficient. Thereby, I wanted to inform everyone that I am fine and healthy.”
He jokingly said that when the doctor declared him COVID positive, he replied “For 65 years, I have been positive in everything and never been negative.”
