'Laal Singh Chaddha,' directed by Advait Chandan and starring Aamir Khan will be released on August 11. While the film's Hindi trailer was released earlier, the Telugu trailer was released on Sunday (July 24) by megastar Chiranjeevi, and the response has been phenomenal.
The film is produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Jyoti Deshpande, Ajit Andhare and Radhika Chaudhari under the Aamir Khan Productions in collaboration with Viacom18 Studios banners and will be released in Telugu states by Chiranjeevi, who is preparing for big promotional strategies.
The titular character of 'Laal Singh Chaddha’ based on Tom Hanks's classic 'Forrest Gump, is a man of substance and the entire credit goes to his mother, who teaches her son to look at silver linings when nothing makes sense. The relationship between Laal Singh Chaddha and his mother is one of the touching and moving aspects of the movie, their love is exceptional and pure.
Tanuj Tiku has been roped in to take care of the background score, while Pritam will be composing the tunes. The film has been shot by Satyajit Pande and edited by Hemanti Sarkar. The film has a great cast, with actors Kareena Kapoor, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Mona Singh and Aarya Sharma playing key parts. It is an official remake of Hollywood's 'Forrest Gump'.
