The air was thick with excitement at the trailer launch of the much-anticipated movie 'Kushi,' where the entire cast and crew, including director Shiva Nirvana and lead actor Vijay Deverakonda, were present. The event took place in Hyderabad and was a platform for the creators to interact with the media and discuss the film's intricacies, shooting experiences, and much more.

Scheduled for a theatrical release on September 1, 'Kushi,' starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, has already sparked fervent interest. The trailer has been met with a shower of adoration, but it has also drawn comparisons to Mani Ratnam's timeless classic, 'Alaipayuthey.'

Addressing this comparison during the media interaction, director Shiva Nirvana offered his perspective, stating, "What I felt is, before Alaipayuthey, before Mouna Ragam, or before any film for that instance, marriage and love are the same. We can't change them. Whatever you want to tell in a love story, love should be there. In a marriage story, marriage should be there."

With an understanding that the present generation's attention span is limited, Nirvana emphasized the need to create a film that captures their interest without resorting to mundane dialogues and uneventful drama. He further expressed his desire for the audience, especially couples, to resonate with the film's essence, making their theater experience enjoyable and reminiscent of their own relationships.

'Kushi,' skillfully helmed by Shiva Nirvana, boasts an ensemble cast featuring Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali, and Rahul Ramakrishna in pivotal roles. The film's soundtrack, composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, adds an extra layer of emotion and charm to the narrative.
