directed by popular artist Mahesh Manjrekar, the ‘Murari’ maker has been thinking of remaking it from a long time and finally, the project is all set to go on floors.

. Seasoned actors Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan are roped in to essay lead roles in this emotional drama and the shooting is expected to kick-off soon. Meanwhile, maestro Ilaiyaraaja will compose the tunes for this film. Prakash Raj and Krishna Vamsi have recently approached the legendary musician and their reunion pictures are doing the rounds on social media.
Vamsi and Ilaiyaraaja will be joining hands for Ranga Maarthaanda after two decades. The duo has previously worked for Anthapuram in 1998 and all the songs have turned out to become chartbusters. The veteran director is hoping that the magic repeats again.
Starring the versatile Nana Patekar in the titular role, Natsamrat is a heart-touching drama that depicts the tragic family life of a stage actor who has retired from acting but is unable to forget his fond memories of theatre.
