Sai Dharam Tej made an announcement about his upcoming film, news has surfaced that his
brother Panja Vaisshnav Tej
, who’s yet to make his debut with Uppena, has signed on another project already.
Buzz is that Vaisshnav Tej will be seen in a film that will be directed by Krish. A close source to the actor has confirmed the same and shoot is also set to begin soon. There’s also buzz that
Rakul Preet Singh has been approached to play a key role in the film which will see release when theatres reopen.
Vaisshnav Tej has wrapped up shoot for his debut film Uppena and it was supposed to hit screens in May, but was stalled due to the pandemic. Talking to Hyderabad Times about the situation, Sai Dharam Tej had said, “We are not at all disappointed with the situation. Though it’s his debut film, the entire industry is facing this pandemic together. We will all come out of this soon, safer and for the better. Uppena will hit screens whenever theatres reopen and with everyone’s blessings, will be a super-hit.”
Uppena is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with director Sukumar bankrolling this film with Mythri Movies. Krish is now busy with
Pawan Kalyan’s next which is touted to be a period drama. He had begun shoot for the film right before the lockdown. Further details of the films are awaited.
