Krish Jagarlamudi breaks silence after leaving Pawan Kalyan’s 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' midway: ‘It is one of my most passionate battles…’
Filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi, who began work on ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ (HHVM) as the original director, has finally broken his silence after stepping away from the historic drama mid-production. He took to his Instagram account to share a lengthy note “with love and fury” ahead of the release of the Pawan Kalyan starrer on July 24.
Krish Jagarlamudi speaks about Pawan Kalyan’s vision
Although Krish exited the project before its completion, filmmaker Jyothi Krishna took over and wrapped up the film’s first instalment. Krish shared a still of Pawan Kalyan as the titular character and described the spirit of the film: “HHVM walks into the world ‘not quietly, but with purpose… with the weight of history and passion behind every frame’.” He credited both Pawan Kalyan and producer A. M. Rathnam for bringing the film to life.
He further wrote: “Our PAWAN KALYAN garu… an extraordinary force blessed by something far greater. There’s a fire in him that no camera can fully capture… a kind of power that comes from purpose. His ever-burning spirit is what breathed life into #HariHaraVeeraMallu. He gave HHVM its spine, its soul, and its storm.”

Krish also lauded Rathnam’s grand vision and resilience: “His ability to see big, to hold the chaos, and to build with faith… is rare. #HHVM is what it is because of his unwavering strength.”
This film was more than just another directorial venture for him. “This film is one of my most passionate battles… not just as a director, but as an explorer of forgotten history, a seeker of uncomfortable truths, an opportunity for world-building, and above all, a believer in cinema that entertains and enlightens at the same time,” he added.
Krish expressed both gratitude and hope as the film nears its release: “And now, a culmination of years of fire and faith will finally be unveiled. It’s fierce. It’s rooted. And it’s yours. With love and fury, Krish Jagarlamudi.”
